Abstract
This article presents an analysis of the regulatory policies applied to illicit crops in Colombia from 2010 to 2022, time in which the former president Juan Manuel Santos governed for two periods, subsequently, the former president Iván Duque Márquez took office, and the proposals of the new government of the current president Gustavo Petro are also presented, leaving to the expectation whether they will be efficient or not.
After consulting various documents and publications made during these last years, the aim is to establish whether the regulatory policies applied by these governments in relation to the problem that illicit crops represent for some sectors gave positive results or whether, on the contrary, they did not help in the fight against this scourge or ended up worsening it even more.
