Abstract

This article aims to give a vision of the concrete contributions to the integral formation of students from an experience based on the Javerian Identity and Ignatian Spirituality named Xaverian Leadership Workshop that, since its creation in 2006, has become an educational practice in the university context that seeks the formation of excellent professionals as leaders with a solid base in values, aware of their strengths, weaknesses, principles and values, those who allow themselves to be questioned by reality in order to channel their lives to the service of a world where the common good and the promotion of the dignity of human beings prevail.

The aforementioned contributions and an in-depth study of them were the main objective of a characterization and evaluation exercise carried out during 2020, whose findings have allowed a greater recognition of the experience, setting a guideline in the sense of the educational offer, which is oriented in coherence with the Educational Project, and which seeks personal growth and permanent reflection as a strategic way to effectively meet the training needs of the undergraduate and graduate students of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
