University Internal Social Responsibility in Times of Infantilization of Students

Abstract

University internal social responsibility (UISR) has been little studied, yet it has much value in the current social scenario.  The objective of this work is to analyze the positioning of teachers and students in a context that seems to promote infantilization, and the role that universities should have in this phenomenon. This work focuses on the internal social responsibility of Higher Education Institutions, in the face of a scenario in which students are treated as immature adolescents and which, as a consequence, implies emotional protection and limits student commitment to their professional training. It is mix and exploratory study about the teachers and students perception around the theme described above.
